Electric water pump 🔌 🥶 Holden VS Statesman 304 V8 (5.7 355 supercharged Stroker)

Sometimes it's no use trying to get the factory cooling systems to perform. The 304 is one of those motors that loves to run hot 🥵 We've done everything to try and keep them cool with moderate success. This time round we've binned the thermostat for a PWM controlled pump, that regulates flow and fitted up a PWR radiator with a Spal Fan. All controlled by a computer. We've also made a couple changes to the coolant system boosting flow and decreasing temps 🥶

Big Thanks to for developing the CWA400 pump controller 🧠 😎 This allows precise control of the coolant temperature and fan speed.

1997 Holden VS Statesman 355 Supercharged Stroker 🔥 😎

The donk has had the full works done inside the motor to pep up the tired performance of the stock 304. That wasn't enough though, the owner is going round 2 with a supercharger and state of the art cooling system. No more over heating and all the power and torque!

We are excited to update you on the progress of our stage 1 VDJ turbo.

These measurements are directly at the hubs. This engine made over 800nm with our turbo and factory injectors but the clutch was having a rough time coping with the torque.

An exhaust valve makes it sound as tough as a $2 steak and the gauges with built in alarms keep the whole rig reliable.

This is how the mighty VT Commodore should have come from factory. With its fancy factory ecu and a turbo this bad boy is making 474kw 1285nm .
After some head studs it will be back for more boost and hopefully a bunch more power.
