Mandurah, WA | Full-time | $55–$60 per hour for the right person | 4-day week

We'll be honest with you; good auto electricians are hard to find. We know that — every workshop in WA is chasing the same people.

But here's the thing: a workshop worth staying at is even harder to find.

We're not going to pretend we can match mining money. We can't. What we can offer is a job you actually want to turn up to, and a life outside of it.

- $55–$60 per hour for the right candidate — a genuinely competitive rate for the region.
- A 4-day working week. Tuesday - Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm. (38 hours/week) A long weekend. Every single week.

The work

You'll be across a bit of everything:

Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
Dual battery systems and 12V installs
Caravan and 4WD electrical upgrades
Automotive air conditioning
General auto electrical repairs and servicing
What we're looking for
Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (or overseas equivalent with recognised qualifications)
Current WA driver's licence
Automotive A/C authorisation is a bonus — happy to support you to get it if you don't have one
Someone who takes pride in a tidy job and doesn't need chasing
Good with customers — our clients come back because of how they're treated
A decent human who wants to be part of a team

Experience with caravan, 4WD and accessory fit-outs will put you near the top of the pile, but attitude matters more to us than a perfect résumé.

We've got more work than hands. South Coast Auto Electrics is looking for a qualified auto electrician to join our Mandurah workshop.

What you'd be on: 4WD and touring fitouts, dual-battery and lithium systems, caravan and trailer wiring, air conditioning, auto-electrical fault-finding and interlock work. Genuine variety — no two days the same.

Full-time - 4 Day working week, Tuesday to Friday, or flexible working days if you don't want full-time. Above award, based on experience. Home every night. Start as soon as you're free.
