Manangatang Racing Club Annual horse race day held on 2nd Saturday in October. Country racing at it's best. Round up the gang and head to Manang! It’s a true Country Racing experience.

* You wouldn't want to be anywhere else when it comes to racing in the famous township of Manangatang near Swan Hill, held annually on the 2nd Saturday in October.
* Manangatang is legendary for its annual racing event, the Manangatang Cup, and every year people travel far and wide for the ultimate country racing experience. Save the date and be trackside as the town’s population swells from 250 t

o over 3,000 across the weekend.
* Manangatang offers a unique experience. We offer FREE camping right next to the racecourse on the Friday and Saturday nights, which makes it easier for those wishing to stay on and enjoy the festivities in The Big Shed into the night. Toilet and shower facilities are available on-site.

The first Manangatang horse racing meeting was held on Easter Monday, April 9, 1917, raising £100 toward a local hall. More than 500 people attended a day featuring six races — including trotting, pony and local hack races — alongside an athletics carnival, where Jack Monk won the “Old Buffers” race for men over 50 and took home a bag of flour🥇
