We just got a 1 star Google review from this Malanda Bull Ride weekend. 🥲
We work our butts off for the bull ride weekend, it takes us a week to recover from it. This year we broke our personal record by 100, hosting about 500 people for the night.
Unfortunately there is extra rules in the park for the Bull Ride weekend. We have police and security in the park, and 16 & 17 years old can’t stay without a legal guardian. Rules are made for a reason and for everyone’s safety. Mostly for the underage kids themselves. At the Bull Ride, they won’t serve alcohol to minors, at the park they can drink as many of their friends boozes as they want. We can’t have underage kids drinking in the park. It’s illegal. It’s not safe. It’s a liability. We have had problems with it in the past.
Sorry you didn’t realise this, but the rule has been in place for 10 years, and we post multiple times about it on our facebook and Instagram every year.
We will try our best to make it even more known next year. We had our quietest and safest Bull Ride in the park yet, and we have our rules to thank for that.
Under 18 year olds are welcome to stay any other weekend of the year, we encourage it.
Much love. Elijah and Naomi. 🤍

HOUSE KEEPING🌾

⚪️ No one under the age of 18 is allowed to stay without a legal guardian (aka, parent). You will be asked for ID when you check in.

⚪️ Exact sites are not always guaranteed as sometimes we have to shuffle things around to make everyone fit. We will get you as close as possible if not on the requested site.

⚪️ The park will have a police and security presence all night for everyone’s safety, and no breaking of our park rules or the law will be tolerated.

⚪️ Everyone who checks in will be given a wristband and you WILL NOT be able to get into the park without your wristband on from 12pm till Sunday morning, we will be checking at the gate.

⚪️ Our reception has an after hours buzzer for any emergencies, and of course, we will have the police there too.

⚪️ Next year there will be a two night minimum for the bull ride weekend.

We wanted to do a little bit of house keeping a bit earlier this year and we will make another post closer to weekend as a refresher.

Thanks to Empower Plumbing the dump point is back in action! After 2 months of weekly unblocks, we finally got an excavator in and dug it all up! Massive job, but it’s all done! Thanks boys! And parents, no kids near the dump point 🥎 😭😅😆
Sorry to anyone that was inconvenienced during this phase, we appreciate your patience. 🙏
