A WA farmer recently brought his 2020 V8 79 Series into the workshop for a JMACX 4200 leaf GVM upgrade.

We just completed our first 8-speed automatic conversion on a 79 Series LandCruiser.

Toyota's 8-speed automatic transmission is not available as a factory-fitted option and can only be installed as an aftermarket upgrade, providing a smoother ride and better acceleration for both low-end towing and highway cruising.

We fitted this one to a post-registration 2024 single-cab 79 Series GXL LandCruiser.

We just finished up a couple of INEOS Grenadier upgrades ready for the annual Dowerin Fields Days event this week.

One vehicle had a JMACX 4,000kg GVM package fitted and the other had the JMACX 4,495kg GVM - both installed pre-registration.

These builds will be on display at the INEOS stand on Wednesday and Thursday this week at WA's premier agricultural event in Dowerin.

A nice JMACX GVM on this 79 Series LandCruiser, complete with a 6x6 conversion.

This build was completed post-registration with a Boss Aluminium fitout, including a premium tray and two canopies, as well as an RT1 rooftop tent and awning.

We are an authorised installer of the full range of JMACX GVM kits and upgrades, including coil conversions, chassis extensions and 6x6 conversions. Packages are available for Toyota LandCruisers, including the 70, 200 and 300 Series and Prado 250, as well as Ford Rangers, Ram Trucks and INEOS Grenadiers.

All work is completed in-house, and we also manage the licensing process to get you on the road once your build is complete.

Check out this Nissan Patrol Y62 Ti-L we had in for a pre-registration GVM upgrade. It had a heavy-duty 4.49T GVM upgrade kit installed from Touring Solutions Australia.

The 4.49T is the biggest of the TSA Patrol upgrades. The vehicle's carrying payload capacity has increased by 935kg - now totalling 1,620kg, while maintaining the braked towing capacity of 3,500kg.

Load-rated wheels and tyres were required to support the increased GVM, so the customer went with ROH wheels and 35" Yokohama tyres. We also installed colour-coded Clearview towing mirrors.

We've been installing JMACX kits since 2017. This 79 Series LandCruiser had a JMACX 4495 GVM upgrade package installed, which included a 3-inch lift, Alpha Shocks and a Torqit exhaust.

Another 300 Series VX through the workshop for a GVM upgrade. This one had a JMACX 4200 GVM package with Alpha Shocks and a 2" lift. It was installed pre-registration and we also fitted a set of ROH Raid wheels with 33" Toyo tyres.
