TIMING CHAINS IN AN AUDI - Please do not attempt this on your own unless you have the correct tools to do the job because otherwise it becomes a very VERY expensive endeavor.
Once getting to this stage we did find that there was chunks of metal coming out of the top cover & customer decided to pull the pin on it.

We had a customer who came in crying because they were told that the gearbox was completely gone & no one can fix it. She came in had a chat & let us have a look at what is going on.

What did we find? Well watch and see but i can say the DSG DMF or dual mass flywheel has absolutely left the building.

WHEN YOU DONT SERVICE YOUR CAR TO SAVE MONEY YOU GET CHOCOLATE FOUNTAINS!!!

We know times are tough & the first thing most people do is not service the car. Unfortunately by doing that this is the outcome.

You are not looking at chocolate fountains you are looking at an engine that has missed out on having some love.

Even just a simple oil & filter change can stop this from happening so spending $300 can save you squillions because we are all aware that engines in vehicles are NOT cheap.
