If your rig is pulling to one side, your steering wheel is crooked, or your front tyres are wearing down on the edges, your wheel alignment is out.

Don't chew through a good set of rubber for no reason. We’ve put together a quick guide on the warning signs to watch out for:

https://www.transittyres.com.au/wheel-alignment-guide-from-transit/

Or just drop it into the Paget workshop and we'll get it sorted.

Your ute doesn't just do the school run. By the time you add the canopy, toolboxes, gear, and a trailer on the back, that rig is heavy.

Two tyres can be the exact same size and look identical, but have completely different load ratings. If your ute is loaded up 24/7 or running rough site-access tracks, a standard-rated tyre is going to let you down fast.

Tell us the real setup, and we’ll sort you out with tyres built for they are expected to endure!

One work vehicle off the road can throw out the whole day.

Our latest guide covers some of the basics that matter across work vehicles and fleets, including regular checks, driver reporting, wheel alignment and choosing tyres that suit the job the vehicle actually does.

We’re looking for a tyre fitter to join the Transit Tyres team in Mackay with an immediate start available.

Tyre fitting experience is preferred, but if you’re mechanically minded, reliable, have a current driver licence and reckon you’d be a good fit for the crew, we’d still like to hear from you.

Interested? Give Jonno a call on (07) 4952 4326 or email [email protected].

Why can two tyres in the same size have very different price tags?

You’re paying for more than size. Construction, load rating, tread design, expected wear and what the tyre is built to handle all play a part.

The right tyre comes down to what you drive, how you use it and your budget.

With plenty of good tyre deals on this month, it’s a good time to have a chat with the Transit team.
