Morning all, over the next week, Kym Ransome will be getting the volunteer roster ready for next term. It is going to be harder than ever to fill the roster with a lot of our normal official crew travelling for the BMX World Championships.

We need some new volunteers to come on board and help out to keep racing running.
Please let us know if you can help so we can organise to have you shadow a current official to learn the ropes.

We can't run a race night if we don't have all of the volunteer official spots filled.

⚙️Race Number/ Why you picked it? 711 because it’s my day and month of my birthday.

⚙️What do you love about BMX? I can spent time with friends and i enjoy it!

⚙️Fav Track or Carnival and why? Cairns state round 2025 because i came third.

⚙️Top BMX Memory? When I came 3rd at Rockhampton - my first podium!

📌 2026 racing just wont be the same without some more amazing volunteer/parent helpers coming on board!

Join our MAD CREW of qualified Officials to keep our racing and gate sessions running!

You can become a Gate starter, a Berm Official, a top or bottom Stager, a Mini wheeler Wrangler (perfect for Mini parents who's riders are already confident out on track), help in Rego and scoring, or be our First aid officer.
( *We also love new Canteen helpers, this doesn't need an Officials licence just the willingness to lend a hand )

We will train you in any area you would like to learn.

Here’s what you need to do….

It is REALLY EASY to become an Official!

1. Complete a Blue Card application, once approved it must be linked to MAD BMX Club. Our president Brett Wilson can help you with any questions on this. There is NO COST to you.
Apply for a blue card or exemption card | Your rights, crime and the law | Queensland Government (www.qld.gov.au)

2. Apply for an AusCycling BMX Licence online. This is at NO COST for a Non-Riding Licence.

You are even eligible for AusCycling’s Exclusive Member Discounts & Offers!!

3. Complete BMX Officials Course online. This takes about an hour and is also Free!
