🔧 HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE AT DPU! 🔧

Young Owen spent last week at Diesel Power Unlimited doing his school-based work experience — and he certainly wasn’t stuck watching from the sidelines!

Owen got hands-on with a bit of everything around the workshop, from clutches and exhaust systems through to diagnostics and performance work.

To top it all off, he even got involved in custom tuning his own Land Cruiser on the dyno, getting a firsthand look at what goes into safely extracting more performance from a vehicle.

It’s great to see young people taking an interest in the automotive industry, getting their hands dirty and learning how things are done in a real workshop environment.

Part 2 of our 79 Series build and this time, we’re in the dyno room. 👊

Last week we walked you through what was going into this build.
L’Koi is here to show us how it all came together and, most importantly, the results.

Starting at 120kW and around 320Nm, we finished at 241kW and 881Nm....just shy of 900Nm and around 330hp!

Could we have pushed it further? Yep.
But this one was about keeping things conservative and reliable while still delivering some pretty impressive gains.
