We are excited to introduce ourselves Larissa and Zac Horton as the new owners of Hire A Horse Float Mackay!

As passionate horse people, we understand the importance of safe, reliable, and affordable horse transport. Our goal is to continue providing the Mackay and surrounding communities with well-maintained horse floats and excellent customer service you can depend on.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Stef for handing over the reins and entrusting us to continue the fantastic business she has built. We appreciate the hard work, dedication, and reputation she has created within the local equestrian community, and we look forward to carrying that legacy forward.

Officially my last post as the owner of Hire A Horse Float 🐴

It gives me absolute pleasure to welcome our new Hire A Horse Float Mackay owners:
Larissa & Zac! I will let them introduce themselves on a post if they wish.

From where it all began ... 2021! Purchasing this horse float for my very own, & not long after purchasing the business to go with it.
I have so much gratitude for this business, the way I started it from meeting every single customer, filling out paper manually (the joys), assisting with hooking the float up (with my baby in arms!), saving the day with a horse float transport service (one off), & hearing everyones stories on the adventures this float has had (furtherest it has been is NSW), & the reason they hired the float.
To now .. an automated system for ease of the customer in a 24 hour pick up / drop off location & simple booking process, it really has grown!

It has been an honour to service the Mackay community for your horse float hire needs & get to know you all as customers.

I have loved every minute of it, it's now time for me to pass the reins to an amazing couple who will certainly look after you all! They are very knowledgable in the equine industry, & can look after this float to keep it running strong.

Forever grateful for this journey

I know I'll definitely be hiring it again soon
