About the Role
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work depending on workload. Some travel away will be required. You will carry out repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and heavy machinery.

What your apprenticeship will include:
• Diagnostics and fault finding (CAT, Cummins and Komatsu
• Minor & major servicing on heavy machinery and vehicles
• Component overhaul & rebuilds
• Undercarriage repair & overhaul
• Major machinery repairs
• Mobile/on-site field servicing & repairs
• Preventative maintenance and inspections
• Use of diagnostic equipment
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety
• Effective time management to meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For:
• Can demonstrate clean and efficient work
• Presents clean and tidy
• Current car driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and commitment to safety and quality standards

Due to high demand and constant growth we are currently seeking the following positions,
• Fully qualified diesel fitter.
• Apprentice diesel fitter.
Immediate start for successful candidates.

Our workshop is based in the Lockyer Valley and our business specialises in machinery, equipment for agricultural, civil and earthmoving companies throughout Queensland. Travel away will be required at times. Potential for the right candidate to upskill within the company.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to.
• Diagnostics
• Component overhaul
• Undercarriage repair and overhaul
• Major machinery repairs
• Preventative maintenance and inspection
• Use of diagnostic equipment
• Cleanliness and safety to highest quality
• Efficient time management

To be a successful candidate you must have the following.
• Heavy diesel trade qualification (if qualified)
• Current car drivers licence
• MR or HR license (not essential, training may be provided)
• Must be able to work efficiently on their own and within the team.
• Must be competent with computer systems.
• Have a positive attitude and motivated for the task ahead.

Competitive hourly rate negotiable depending on skill level.
