RECEPTIONIST POSITION
An employment opportunity is available at JD's garage and Repair Shop in Longwarry monday to friday
duties will include (but not limited to):
● Greeting and welcoming customers into the service center
● Maintaining guest lounge and provisions of hospitality as required
All while delivering a high level of professionalism
● answering and directing all in coming calls
● Keeping track of work being done on vehicles so as to confidently inform the
Customer of their job progress when required
● Must be proficient social media platforms
● Basic computer proficiency
● Booking appointments
● Ordering parts/ liaising with suppliers and customers when needed
● Invoicing/ Data Entry/ Filing/ record keeping
● Completing errands as required( but not limited too office related duties)
Eg’ parts pick up or drop off
This is an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist/ Customer Service person to join a family run small business
The successful candidate will need :

● A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
● A confident phone manner, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● Time management skills in order to juggle a busy department
● The initiative to help on the front line if the need arises
● Have previous experience in the automotive trade (desirable but not essential)
● Have the ability to resolve issues independently if they arise
● Have good organizational skills
● Be hungry to learn
● To be proficient in social media and basic computer operations
● Be a team player
● Drivers License is essential- Manual required
● Desirable but not essential Heavy rigid license
