While at the Melbourne 4x4 Show, Joel had the opportunity to catch up with Jeremy, founder and owner of Alu-Cab, all the way from South Africa.

Ryan’s Green Chev 2500 HD Stage 2 Canopy has returned, this time with its new owner.

As some of you may have seen, not long after we completed this Chev the original owner unfortunately had to move the truck on due to unforeseen circumstances.

The new owner, however, wanted to pick up exactly where the build left off and continue taking it to the next level.

This time around, our focus was on completing the internal canopy fitout. We relocated the existing power system outlets from underneath the rear seat inside the cab into the canopy, utilising our custom canopy panels to create a clean, organised and purpose built setup.

By moving the power system outlets into the canopy and carefully planning the layout, we’ve maximised the available storage space while keeping everything neat, accessible and extremely practical.

Another stage complete, and it’s great to see this Chev back in the workshop continuing the build.

NEW PRODUCT - Next Level Fuse Holder

The Next Level Trucks 7-Way MIDI Fuse Holder is a compact, heavy-duty power distribution solution designed for automotive, 4WD, touring and custom 12V electrical installations.

Designed to keep accessory wiring clean, protected and organised, the 7-way configuration allows multiple fused circuits to be distributed from a single power source. An integrated MEGA fuse input provides protection for the main incoming power supply, while seven individual MIDI fuse positions allow circuits to be protected independently.

With a 300A maximum continuous rating and up to 25A per circuit, it's an ideal solution for auxiliary lighting, compressors, UHF radios, 12V accessories, canopy electrical systems and other vehicle-based electrical equipment.

Built using a durable black Nylon and PPA housing and stainless steel hardware, the Next Level Trucks 7-Way MIDI Fuse Holder is designed to provide reliable power distribution in demanding automotive applications.

Experience working with Chevrolet, RAM and Ford American trucks is highly regarded, particularly with:

🔧 Suspension upgrades and lift kits
🔧 Bull bars and vehicle protection
🔧 Electrical accessories and lighting
🔧 GVM and suspension components
🔧 Wheels, tyres and fitment
🔧 Touring and towing upgrades
🔧 Full vehicle fit-outs and custom builds

And that’s a wrap on Melbourne!

What an awesome few days at the Melbourne 4x4 Show . We met some incredible new people, checked out some seriously epic builds and products, and had plenty of good laughs catching up with mates from across the industry.

Events like this remind us just how strong the 4x4 community is. Whether you stopped for a chat, talked trucks, discussed a future build or simply came over to say hello, we appreciate every one of you.

A massive thank you to the organisers, exhibitors and everyone behind the scenes who put together another brilliant show.

Melbourne, thanks for having us. We had an absolute blast and we’ll see you at the next one!
