This week had been a traumatic week for our immediate family, but keeping our customer's happy, definitely was a very distant option atm..
So with limited time in the shed ive over come a drama with a HK Monaro gutter trim , and made up a totally new trim from another car mar make and model

Scroll on through and see what the finish job turned out.

Im thinking of making up these "HTGK Monaro" gutter trims, also the "C" pillar ..and the top rear 1/4 panel trims..... will possibly be some of the new parts ill be considering making up from scratch, but ill be starting with the gutter trims...

So hi again... after ive 2 pac apoxy primed over the complete hubcaps , they'll be blocked and filled ,where needed and to get a full perfect finish as we will be doing the "Hydrochome process" on these 4 hubs..

Back again...not a big job ,but fixing another shops prior repair work, this trim was part of a set of trims restored at another shop along with the car body and remaing car parts, this trim was in worse condition than what I usually start with..but the outer face was polished and shiny,didn't fit the car at all, so ive repaired restored the full trim , and then putting it onto my own built horseshoe jig to get correct overall shape..took a while to get overall shape ,plus getting the retainers clips to actually fit inside the trim..those edged were absolutely shocking ,
I don't know of anyone that would consider this as a repaired trim.. ( give yourself a few uppercuts ok)

Hey 👋 to all, with these Lancia hubcaps, we've "changed direction" away from the normal naturally chromework practices ..these brass hubcaps needed to have a ton of work and adding chrome $$$ cost's as well these would be a $6,000 set....so we are going to have them done at Gold Coast Hyrdrographics..where they also do the Hydro chrome,the process is similar to body work, strip and clean metal 2 pac apoxy, repairs , re apoxy, rub block and then clear coat, rubbing to 1200 to get elite finish for the Hydrochrome to be applied, so its a first for our business, and ill update you all and with some more photos on how it all goes ,cheers from

Hey folks..a little different work, but for the same results, did a mates Tony 's brass Alvey reel housing, after it'd been attempted a repair.. a little work to do, plus I braize welded up a fatigue split as well., Tony restores the older fissing reels.... this one came up really nice.
