Hi 👋 to all , been a busy week catching up on some more backlog, plus doing another set of Monaro coupe top screen trims....also polished up some alloy bike parts for a local bike restorer.,... de- chromed some Lancia "brass dress rims", hub caps and headlight rims for repairs a nd refurbishing, .....and a pair of step through "Scooter" brass edge covers.. also for repairs for chroming..

Hi to everyone.. just showing a job that just sometimes doesn't go to plan ,either for myself or the customer ..
This Valiant boot garnish is aluminium, and has corrosion that is coming out everywhere, and some thats gone completely through the panel leaving small holes.......being this thin, and being in a really awkward situation with trying to restore it , and has many complications , so probably going to send it back , not usually too hard to restore aluminium, but this is definitely not fixable in these corrosion areas...

Last week , I showed you all, just some of the process of doing an LC Torana GTR grille replacement meshed centre's.. so, I can now show you,... the very perfect finished product, sitting up with the headlight surrounds together on the car.. this freshly restored Torana will be heading off to the Torana Nationals...

Thanks to my "great mate" Andrew J helping by putting these bits together 727 3 speed + electric over drive and a Andrew J built 360 engine for Brad, @ , getting these up for pre fittment into my chassis mock up and running gear set-up... been a long time waiting ,but getting a great start now with it all.... after a near 14 year long hiatus 😪 ..cheers to you Andy..👌👌

Hi to all, over the last few weeks on and off during other jobs as well, I've completed my 2nd LC Torana grille, this time I've done a little more in the detail, as well as using/" trialing", a 3M apoxy panel bond (glue), to join these 5 parts back together , which was 100% successful .. scroll on through your see the finished grille ,,cheers from Carl @

Hi to all, a change of direction with these LC Torana grilles.. not as much welding , but re affixing the new mesh incerts ill be using the 3M panel bond adhesive..
It's a well known product for replacement panels, hail damaged parts, or general panels ,ie: 1/4 panels, turret skins.. obviously this is a " use and trial " method atm ,but im 💯 % confident of its strength and longevity, as ive used this product years ago when it first came onto the market .. ill do another short video on completion ok ...cheers from Carl Mills Stainless Steel Repairs .
