It’s been busy for me over the last month we’ve just completed this 56 2 door amongst all my other jobs.
This job included fitting a Holley sniper fuel injection system, removing the old tank and fitting a custom 90 litre tank with in-tank pump, having the exhaust modified to fit with the larger tank.
Once that was done new polished rocker covers were fitted and a new throttle bracket and lokar cable fitted to make the it a much smoother transition on the throttle.
Once again thanks goes to David McPharlin for all his help where 4 hands are better than 2.

This was a big job, take everything from a rusty WB statesman including engine, trans, diff, power steering and all the braking system including booster and pedal and fit it all into the HQ that’s after removing all of its 6 cylinder running gear first. Before fitting I had to strip the engine and repaint in correct colour for the era, we also had to remake brake lines as the WB had metric fittings, convert from manual to auto and a million other little things as we went.
Must say the final result was worth it and looks so much better and with a bit more added power now

Well today we reached a milestone the little Datsun 1600 fired into life. Would just like to thank Nathan from Racewire Tasmania for building the loom to make the Haltech happy and working his magic to make it run safely before a final tune. David from Deemac Speed and Custom for his ongoing fabrication work and help and Mark from Austin’s Electrical for all the other wiring and electrical parts.
We still have a few things to do but it now runs and drives and getting closer to the finish line.

Something a bit different this week to work on. Customer dropped off his TR-7 with a freshly built alloy V8 for me to fire up and run in the cam. Once all that was sorted it was time to sort out the tune and fit the newly built disc brake rear end with l*d supplied by the owner.
It certainly makes all the right noises and has no shortage of power.
