🇦🇺🙏👍 I enjoyed meeting rising motorsport star Kari Reid, an apprentice mechanic at the handover of a truck by local Civil Contracting firm Fulton Hogan for teaching and training at Tas TAFE Launceston.

This is a really generous thing to do and the teachers were so pleased because this truck featured more electronic controls, filling a gap. Great partnership!

Reid’s Motorsport wishes to extend our heartfelt sympathy to Garry Gales family. To say we are in shock is an understatement. Life is so very precious & so very short. The work Garry did and has done behind the scenes to make all our racing dreams possible was thankless. Reflecting on our time in juniors, Thank you for always being someone not only junior families & drivers could go to for help but the whole speedway tasmania community. RIP GARRY! 💔

It’s almost Speedway Season and we are just as excited as you are!

But before we jump into our first event for the 2021-2022 Season we have some things we need to go through, so listen up!

No conversations will be entered into regarding the below rules imposed by the Department of Health.

1 – COVID Rules:
We’ve again spent hours and hours having our COVID plans approved. This task is onerous and as much as we are all tired of talking about it, there are some rules which need to be followed when you attend any of our events.

Check in
You will need to check in when entering the venue. This is mandatory NOT OPTIONAL. No Checkin, NO ENTRY. For those without smart phones we will have facilities to ensure you are checked in.

Your online tickets will include check in details. There’s no excuse! Our entry staff will be requesting to see your successful checkin!

Masks:
One of the significant changes to our COVID plans this season is the mandatory wearing of masks. Bring a mask with you, no mask = NO ENTRY.

Children aged under 12 years don't need a mask.

2 – Online Ticketing:
We have upgraded our online ticketing for the coming season. It is a requirement that tickets are purchased online. This assists in streamlining the event entry process. Details for ticket sales will be posted online prior to the event. Just like last season we don’t require these to be printed providing your phone can display the ticket QR code accurately.

3 - Gate Ticketing:
Tickets can still be purchased at the track on race nights. But the preferred method is to purchase tickets online.

Please ensure you follow ALL the above rules and instructions from venue staff, security and COVID volunteers whilst in the venue. It will assist in continuing the running of our speedway season!
