Auto Hop Lambton is looking for a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Mechanic to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about cars, enjoys hands-on work and is keen to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
About the Role:
As a first-year apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced mechanics while completing your apprenticeship and developing practical skills across a range of automotive repairs and servicing.
Your duties will include:
-Assisting qualified mechanics with servicing and repairs
-Learning to diagnose and repair automotive faults
-Performing basic vehicle maintenance
-Assisting with brakes, suspension, tyres and general mechanical work
-Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
-Learning and following workplace health and safety procedures
-Providing a high standard of workmanship and customer service
About You :
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Passionate about cars and the automotive industry
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and willing to follow instructions
- Mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work
- Committed to completing their apprenticeship
Previous automotive experience is not essential — a great attitude and willingness to learn are what matters most.
