Last minute aircon job. This landcruiser presented with aircon that was cool but not cold. Quick inspection by Brock showed a leaking evaporator. Luckily for our customer we had one one the shelf. The boys jumped to it changed out the evaporator and re-gassed the vehicle.
Now our customer will be nice and cool as they head north for Christmas.

Congratulations to Brock for completing his apprenticeship.
4yrs sure does fly. Brock has worked hard and applied himself well throughout his apprenticeship and although it wasn't always smooth sailing we got there in the end. He continues to grow as a tradesman and we look forward to the future with him in our workshop.

This Mazda come in with an alternator issue.
The alternator was getting extremely hot. After a bit of testing it was diagnosed that the alternator was running at 90%capacity. So we swapped it out for a higher output alternator 60Amp to 110amp to help cope with the extra power load caused by the upgrades needed to run this beast.
We also went from noisy gilmer drive belts back to a multi ribbed belt and sorted out the pulsing ignition circuit.

This Toyota Hilux come in on a tilt tray. Crank but no start. Diesel pump was replaced (diagnosed and replaced before it came to our workshop)
Our mechanic Ben Tested wiring from ECU to pump all ok.
Jenni noticed no engine light on dash with key on. Time to pull out the wiring diagrams. Tested all inputs to ECU. One missing ground circuit to ECU. Locate and repair the broken wire. Engine light illuminates on the dash and away she goes.
