Spring is almost here, and as your local Kia team in Penrith, it’s a good time to give your car a once-over after the cooler winter months.

Here are a few things we recommend checking:

• Tyres – check your pressures, tread depth and overall tyre condition.

• Battery – winter can put extra strain on your battery, particularly if it’s already starting to age.

• Air conditioning – test your A/C now so you know it’s ready when the warmer days arrive.

• Fluids and filters – check your oil, coolant, brake fluid and filters to make sure everything is where it should be.

• Brakes – have your pads, rotors and braking system checked, especially if you’ve noticed any unusual noises or changes in braking.

• Wipers and washers – winter weather can take its toll on wiper blades, so now is a good time to check them.

Regular servicing isn’t just about fixing problems. It’s also an opportunity to identify wear and smaller issues before they have the chance to become something bigger.
