February 2024 Update ...

We haven't posted much for a while so here is the latest.
We have moved a few bikes out and as usual a few bikes have also moved in!

The most recent restorations and updates are ...

2001 Ducati 748S
Most will remember this bike in "Senna" livery, but we have since completed a few minor tweaks to this bike including new "Breil" livery and a few subtle modifications.

2000 Ducati Monster 600 (SOLD)
A full ground up resto on this one including a full colour change from black to red on red.
A lovely bike that has now found a home with another Ducatista.

2003 Ducati 999S
This was an amazing find - 17,000klms and had been sitting in a shed for 10 years!
However, this bike has turned out to be the most complex and involved resto we have ever undertaken.
This was a full ground up resto - heaps of time, parts and money have been spent on this bike to bring it back to what is now a new bike.
We also chose red "Xerox" livery so it would match our black "Xerox" 749 - they will look great together on the race track!

2014 Ducati Monster 1200
No, not a classic YET!
But it will soon be as it is the last of the big bore Monsters and it is the right colour.
And yes, it has more computers and gadgets than a F16 fighter, but it also handles and rides like one also.

PS: It's appears to have given birth to a baby while parked in the shed!

We haven't done a Facebook update for a while and people have been asking us what's going on.

Yes we have been buying and selling bikes, completed a couple of resto's and generally enjoying being out for a ride with others.

DUCATI 800SS
We are pleased to announce the arrival of our lastest addition to the garage - a stunning 2004 DUCATI 800SS finished in unmarked classic yellow - a colour that suits this model well.

We have been looking for one of these for while as the updated injected models (800SS/1000SS) are becoming very hard to find as not many were sold in Australia and you just don't see them on the road.
These will be a future classic, especially one like this in such lovely condition.

October Update - "Stradista Build No:01"
After many months of hard work we have finally completed the Stradista (Street Racer) build!
This has been the most intensive and complex build to date requiring frame, electrical and bodywork modifications and a heap of design work.
This bike started life as a ST4 fitted with the Desmoquattro 916 power plant - a perfect bike to turn into a cafe racer with this powerful engine, trellis frame and quality running gear.
So here she is - finished in Sky Blue with Martini livery.
A big thanks to the team who put so many hours into this one!

June Update!

DUCATI Monster 900 week!

Congratulations to David on the arrival of a beautiful baby girl (Monster 900) delivered by Aztek and finished in DUCATI Giallo (yellow) and sounding like it should - LOUD!
David is now a member of the exclusive Ducatista and we look forward to riding with him in the future!

Congratulations to Ryan on the arrival of his latest toy - the Paul Smart 900 - the second Monster 900 in his collection and now parked next to the "Dark Angel" - a bike most of you would know.
Sorry Ryan - it's too late for you now - you are hooked!

All we need now is some good weather!!!!!!!!!!!

KTM RC390
We have a traitor amongst us!
A KTM RC390 turned up today and we have been informed that our number one? (so he says) Aztek Racing Team rider has decided to move to KTM (Ready to Race) as a result of our failure to provide him with a Ducati that meets regulations!

I must admit that this RC390 is a nice looking and well made machine (even I can't wait to ride it!) and in his hands he will probably be even more annoying and faster when riding with us on this mini GP weapon.

The sad thing is it sounds like a lawn mower on steroids!

DUCATI Monster "Paul Smart" 900ie

She was built with love by us and enjoyed by her new owner for 12 months, but the time has come for her to find a new home!

This is an exceptional bike finished in the "Paul Smart" livery of the 70's that has been totally restored with only 18,700ks on the clock, and just loaded with all of the factory and after market good bits - you just do not get them like this!

An update with what has been happening at Aztek Motorcycles.
A busy February with a few bikes sold and bought ...
Mark Robertson finally gave in and bought the S4 Superleggera (my personal baby) and is enjoying the power and glory that is associated with this brand!
Two DUCATI S4's - Mark, that is just asking for trouble!

Mark traded back to Aztek the "Dark Angel" - a beautiful Monster 900ie Cafe Racer against the Superleggera - and we are very happy to report that this bike has since been sold to a new Ducatista in Geelong who is in love with this bike!
We are always happy to see these bikes go to homes who will appreciated and look after them!

A few of our Aztek team members enjoyed a ride last Saturday ending up at our favourite Watts River Brewery lunch stop before proceeding through Buttermans Track to St Andrews for a final wet of the whistle!
