π COMMUNITY SUPPORT LIKE THIS MAKES A REAL DIFFERENCE π
During National Volunteer Week, we especially want to recognise and thank Rae from Ken Mills Toyota Kingaroy, pictured here with two of our much loved regular volunteers, Michael and Sarena.
Rae has become a very valued and appreciated part of our volunteer family and we are incredibly grateful for the kindness, generosity and support shown by both Rae and the entire Ken Mills Toyota Kingaroy team.
Ken Mills Toyota have supported The South Burnett Pantry in more ways than one and their support genuinely makes a real difference to what we are able to do in our community.
One of the amazing ways they support us is through their staff volunteering program, where team members are given the opportunity during work hours to volunteer and give back to the community.
As many people know, The Pantry is completely self-funded, receives no government funding and is run day-to-day entirely by volunteers.
Without volunteers, we simply could not open our doors.
With the additional workload involved in preparing food and supplies for our new Murgon Pantry, there are certainly times where extra helping hands become absolutely invaluable and this support from businesses like Ken Mills Toyota is often literally a Godsend.
In addition to volunteering support, Ken Mills Toyota have also supported The Pantry financially through initiatives including their Suncorp CTP Charity Program.
Through this program, customers purchasing a vehicle and choosing Suncorp Insurance as their CTP provider can help generate donations for nominated local charities, including The South Burnett Pantry.
We think that says a lot about the type of business they are.
Ken Mills has built a reputation not only for outstanding customer service and community connection, but also for genuinely investing back into the region and the people within it.
Businesses supporting local charities, volunteering programs and community organisations helps strengthen the entire South Burnett and we believe it is important to recognise and support businesses that choose to give back in meaningful ways.
