A big shout out to Will from the buffel grass country of Wandoan for smashing out a week of work experience with the SKT Diesel crew! 👏

He turned up every day with a great work ethic, a can-do attitude and wasn’t scared to get in and have a crack. It’s young blokes like Will that our industry needs more of.

A huge thanks to all our clients who let Will get stuck into your trucks and machines during the week. Opportunities like this make a real difference.

The biggest achievement of the week though? We reckon we’ve finally converted him from a lifetime of being raised to worship Freightliners… to seeing the light and appreciating a good Kenworth! 😂 Sorry to the family if we’ve caused a few dramas around the dinner table.

Thanks for all your hard work, Will. Keep that attitude and you’ll go a long way, mate!

💪 NEW TOY IN THE SHED – AND IT’S ALREADY EARNING ITS KEEP 💪

Our new Levanta 7.5T Wireless Mobile Column Lift system has landed at SKT Diesel and it didn’t waste any time getting straight to work.

Its first job? A clutch change-out on this Kenworth 659.

With each column rated at 7.5 tonnes, these lifts give us the ability to safely get heavy trucks, earthmoving equipment and machinery up in the air and get proper access to the job at hand.

The wireless setup makes them incredibly versatile, allowing us to position them to suit everything from prime movers and trailers through to loaders, graders, tractors and other heavy equipment.

For jobs like this clutch replacement, having the truck safely lifted gives us better access underneath, makes the job safer for the boys and helps get repairs completed more efficiently.

We’re always investing back into the business with quality equipment that allows us to take on bigger jobs, work smarter and keep our customers’ gear on the road and in the paddock.

Safe to say the new Levanta lifts have already proven they’ll be a valuable addition to the SKT Diesel workshop.

We're pumped to welcome Brad to the SKT Diesel team.

He's a local family man with plenty of experience and a strong background in all things yellow. Rumour has it he even bleeds CAT yellow, but we'll soon sort that out and get a bit of SKT blue running through the veins. 😂

Brad's already hit the ground running and has fitted in with the crew like he's been here for years.

A massive job completed by the SKT Diesel team this week — a full final drive rebuild on a CAT Dozer. 🔧⚙️🐱
The boys put in solid hours tearing it down, inspecting every component, and rebuilding it back to spec with precision and care.

From start to finish, the job ran smoothly thanks to strong teamwork and attention to detail — the kind of work we’re proud to stand behind. 💪👏
This dozer is now back in the dirt doing what it was built to do.
