We’re usually sharing what’s happening in the workshop, so we thought we’d share a little of what the owner’s behind Black’s Machinery Repairs get up to outside of work too:

After hearing about some friends tackling Bridge to Brisbane last year, we decided this year we’d join them for the 10km.
We started the first couple of kilometres together before Steve found another gear and headed off, finishing just under 60 minutes. Leonie wasn’t too far behind, crossing the line in just over 1 hour 4 mins.
We won’t pretend it was easy. There were definitely a few tough kilometres and some questioning of our life choices along the way 🤔 But we kept putting one foot in front of the other and got it done.
A great morning with good friends, plenty of laughs and a pretty good feeling crossing that finish line.
We spend most of our weeks focused on machinery, breakdowns, servicing and keeping everyone else moving.
This weekend, it was our turn to see how well the BMR owners were running.
Verdict - Operational… but definitely due for a service. 😂🔧
