A few days later, she messaged me:

A few days ago, I shared a moment that happened at the Kincumber Post Office.

A lady picked up my book…
took it to the counter…
without even opening it.

I tapped her on the shoulder and said,
“Guess what… I wrote that book.”

Today, I received this message from her:

“Enjoyed your book immensely. I was the lady in the queue in the post office!”

A few days later, she wrote again:

“Got the impression it didn't end well 😥 Was sad if that was the case.”

That message stayed with me.

Because it means one thing…

👉 She didn’t just read the book.
👉 She felt it.

And that’s all any writer can hope for.

She Bought My Book Without Opening It… Then I Spoke

All my life, I’ve believed in one thing:

Serendipity.

Those moments you don’t plan…
but somehow, they happen exactly when they should.

Yesterday, I walked into the Kincumber Post Office to mail my book.

They also sell my book there.

I was standing in line, just another customer…
when something caught my eye.

The woman in front of me reached over…
picked up my book…
looked at the cover…

…and took it straight to the counter.

She didn’t open it.
She didn’t read the back.

Something about it spoke to her.

I felt this sudden excitement — I couldn’t stop myself.

I gently tapped her on the shoulder and said,
“Guess what… I wrote that book.”

I gave her my card.

And in that moment, I stood there thinking:

Was that just chance…
or was that serendipity?
