A LandCruiser 300 and a 76 Series, both up on the TJM Shepparton dyno.
Two very different LandCruisers on the same rollers. The 300 runs the newer twin turbo V6, and the 76 is the one that has been doing the hard yards for decades.
A dyno run before any work shows what the truck really makes at the wheels. A run after proves what the change did, so the owner sees the difference instead of taking our word for it.
Up close are the parts that do the work off road. XGS remote reservoir shocks tucked into the arch hold extra oil away from the shock body, so they run cooler and fade less on long corrugated roads. Bronze wheels wrapped in mud terrains with plenty of tread finish it off.
Our take is to set it up for the way you actually drive, test it properly, and hand it back ready for the next trip.
For Shepparton and Goulburn Valley LandCruiser owners setting up a 70 or 300 Series for touring and off road.
Which corrugated road has given your shocks the hardest time so far?
