We are saddened to inform you that after 10 years of serving the Hills District community, we will be discontinuing our operations in the area. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our clients for their loyalty and support over the years and wish them all the best for their future endeavors. Our driving school will continue to provide top-notch instruction in Nelson Bay and the surrounding areas of Port Stephens.

Very important update: Penalties to apply for temporary visa holders who have resided in NSW for a continuous period of six months or more, and who continues to drive in NSW on their overseas licence.

From 1 February 2026, Experienced Driver Recognition status has now ceased for individuals who were previously captured on List B in NSW, as listed below:
Bulgaria
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Estonia
Hong Kong (SAR) – for licences held for at least 12 months
Hungary
Latvia
Lithuania
Poland
Republic of Serbia
Romania
Slovakia
Slovenia
South Africa
South Korea (Republic of Korea)
Taiwan.
From 1 February 2026, drivers from recognised countries and jurisdictions in List B will now need to pass the Driver/Rider Knowledge Test and the Rider/Driving Test to obtain a NSW driver licence. ​

Penalties will apply to a temporary visa holder who has resided in NSW for a continuous period of six months or more, and who continues to drive in NSW on their overseas licence. They will be considered to be driving a vehicle unlicenced.

Helping young drivers stay safer on the road!!!ll

The first six months on a P1 licence are the riskiest time for young drivers, with the highest likelihood of being involved in a crash.

The FEEDBACK Trial is a new research study aimed at supporting safer driving habits for 17–20-year-olds on their Ps.
Participants will test an innovative app designed to reduce crashes and improve safety outcomes.

Drivers who join can earn up to $120 in rewards and go into a weekly draw to win $100 vouchers.

TRAFFIC OPERATION RAID

Police are cracking down on anti-social driving behaviour across our roads.

Operation Dates: 6th November – 8th November 2025

We're targeting:
- Mobile phone use while driving
- Failure to wear seat belts
- Drink & drug driving
- Random breath and drug testing will be conducted.

You will not be able to reschedule within the 24 hour period prior to your booking. Of course, you are more than welcome to reschedule your appointment outside of the 24 hour window, no problem at all.
