Audi A7 in for transmission issues — fault traced back to the valve body - TCU unit.

This is the control centre of the gearbox. When it fails, shifting becomes unpredictable, harsh, or completely unreliable.

We don’t guess. We test and confirm.

✔️ Fault diagnosis completed
✔️ Mechatronics unit replaced
✔️ System recalibrated and tested

Clean, targeted repair. No unnecessary work.

Mirror replacement isn’t what it used to be.

That Mercedes GLE side mirror?
It’s not just glass and plastic anymore.

We’re talking:
• Integrated cameras
• Blind spot sensors
• Control modules
• Calibration requirements

This one came in damaged.
Mirror assembly replaced ✔️
Wiring and modules checked ✔️
Full calibration completed ✔️

If the new Mirror isn't adapted correctly, your safety system becomes blind.

At A.D CarCare, we don’t Tinker, We have the gear to do it— we test, calibrate, and confirm.

Hidden fuel filter on a 1GD Hilux — not even listed in some log book procedures.

This is why independent workshops cannot rely on the book alone anymore.

Vehicles change constantly. If you are not staying current with OEM data, diagnostics, and training, things get missed.

we check properly — not just stamp books.

Toyota Hilux Growling Noise
One Lucky Tradie who was "Too Busy" to have it checked out.

Axle bearing failure.
Completely collapsed — metal filings through the diff.

Another drive or two and this could’ve:
❌ Locked up
❌ Thrown the axle
❌ Put the wheel down the road

What we did:
✔️ Strip and inspect
✔️ Full diff flush (contamination everywhere)
✔️ New axle bearing fitted
✔️ Opposite side replaced as preventative
✔️ Reassembled and tested

We saved the diff — but it cost more time and labour than it should have.

That howling noise? That’s your warning.
Ignore it… and it gets expensive.

Alfa Romeo? Yeah… we speak Italian too.
Engine overheating
Fault:
Engine oil cooler failure
→ Pumping engine oil straight into the cooling system

And not just one system…

Alfa’s twin cooling system contaminated with oil.

What we found:
• Oil throughout coolant passages
• Contamination across both cooling circuits
• Oil cooler leaking internally

What we did:
✔️ Full strip-down access from underneath
✔️ Oil cooler removed from side of engine block
✔️ Cooling systems flushed and cleaned properly
✔️ Reassembly and pressure testing
✔️ System restored and verified

All-day job. No shortcuts.

We take it on — and finish it properly.

If you know, you know… this is not optional work.
you just gotta get in and get it done..

BMW 118i

one battery change… and the whole car lost its mind.

Customer replaced the battery himself — then everything went sideways:

• No adaptive headlights (AHL)
• Headlight switch dead
• Headlights stuck ON
• Brake lights triggering rear fogs
• No reverse lights
• Dash illumination gone
• No right indicator
• Left indicator stuck on, wouldn’t cancel

That’s not coincidence. That’s control module chaos.

We traced it back to the body control system (FRM module) — corrupted after improper power handling during battery replacement.

What we did:
✔️ Removed and tested FRM module
✔️ Internal inspection and repair
✔️ Reprogrammed and coded correctly
✔️ System-wide checks and resets
✔️ Confirmed full function restored

Modern cars don’t like voltage spikes or incorrect procedures.
You don’t just “swap a battery” anymore.

Mercedes Benz No Fault codes, Where do you start?

This one did the rounds… and no one could pin it down.
Multiple workshops. Parts thrown at it. Still no fix.

Eventually, it gets referred to us by our major parts supplier.
No fault codes. Rough idle. Severe power loss. Undriveable.

So we slow it down and do what matters — ask the right questions.
• Where are you fueling up?
• Did the problem come on suddenly or over time?

That’s your direction right there.
Based on symptoms, we backed what we know:
👉 Fuel issue.

Live fuel trim data confirmed it — engine running extremely lean.
So we went deeper.

Pulled the fuel tank open… and this is what we found.

Contaminated fuel. Water mixed in. Completely destroyed the system.

Blocked pickup, saturated filter, Blocked fuel injectors, restricted flow — no chance this engine was getting what it needed.

Symptom → Cause → Confirmed Fault

Rough idle & no power → Fuel starvation → Contaminated fuel + water ingress

No guessing. No parts darts.

Data + questions + experience = result.

This is why diagnosis matters.

Vehicle: Toyota Kluger

Customer needed an air conditioning evaporator replaced due to a refrigerant leak.

Which means this 👇
Full dashboard removal.

No quick fix. No shortcuts.

To get to the evaporator, the entire dash, wiring, and HVAC system has to come out.

What you’re looking at here is:
• Full interior strip-down
• Complete access to heater box
• Wiring and components carefully removed and laid out

This is the level of work most people never see.

👉 Ever wondered why A/C jobs aren’t “quick fixes” or cheap to repair?

🚗 AUDI DPF WARNING — FIXED WITHOUT THE BIG BILL

This Audi A5 came in with warning lights on and DPF fault codes showing.

At first glance, it looked like a blocked or failing DPF — something that can get expensive fast.

But we don’t guess. We test.

After checking the data properly, the DPF itself was actually in good condition.
So we kept digging.

What we found:
A coolant temperature sensor that wasn’t quite reading correctly.
Not fully failed — just inaccurate enough to stop the car from running a regeneration.

The fix:
✔ Replaced the faulty sensor
✔ Restored correct engine temperature readings
✔ Car completed a regeneration on its own
✔ Warning lights cleared, back to normal driving

No unnecessary parts. No wasted money.

Just the right diagnosis.
That’s how we approach every job.

Vehicle: Ford Focus

Customer concern: Knocking noise from engine.

What we found 👇
Severe internal engine damage due to lack of oil changes.

There was also an intermittent oil warning light… which was ignored.

Result:
• Oil starvation
• Internal wear escalated
• Engine failure
• Full engine replacement required

Engines don’t just fail without warning.

👉 Early signs were there:
• Oil light flickering on and off
• Delayed servicing
• Noise developing over time

That oil light is not a suggestion — it’s a warning.

👉 Have you ever seen your oil light come on and kept driving?

In this case — it ended in an engine swap.

Look after the basics. Regular servicing is cheap insurance.
