Meet Our Member: Broadacre Automotive Katanning

From a dream to one of the Great Southern's growing automotive businesses, Broadacre Auto Electrics is an example of what dedication, hard work and local support can achieve.

Owner Caleb Murray started his journey by completing his apprenticeship with Narrogin Auto Electrics, earning Apprentice of the Year recognition along the way. What began as weekend work operating from the back of his Ford Falcon steadily grew into a full-time business, servicing farms and regional customers across the Great Southern.

Caleb expanded from mobile auto electrical and air conditioning services into a fully equipped workshop and retail store in Katanning. Broadacre Auto Electrics offers auto electrical services, air conditioning repairs, 4x4 fit-outs and accessories, while continuing to support local customers both in the workshop and on-farm.

Caleb's fiancée, Jessica Clark, joined the business and now manages administration, accounts and the front-of-house operations. Together, Caleb and Jess have built a true family business, with daughter Isla keeping the team on their toes as the self-appointed "Workshop Manager."

Broadacre Auto Electrics is proud to employ MTA WA Apprentice Fletcher Lewis Ball, who was nominated for the Rising Star Award in 2026. Investing in the next generation of automotive professionals is helping ensure strong skills remain in the region for years to come

📢 Workshop Closure Notice

Just a quick heads up that Broadacre Auto Electrics will be closed from Monday 3rd August to Friday 7th August.

This Nissan Navara NP300 came in ready for a front-end refresh, replacing its existing hoopless bumper replacement bar with something that offered both improved protection and a tougher look.
