RAS Diesel Services is looking for two experienced Drill Fitters/Diesel mechanics to join our growing team.

Experience working on drill and blast or exploration rigs is highly regarded though not essential.

The week that was, from urgent track repairs for a Tier 1 mining company, to minor and major engine work for multiple long term valued clients including a camshaft replacement, bearing roll, and injector cup replacement. The team has been flat out keeping exploration, drill & blast, and heavy equipment moving across Western Australia.

Multiple breakdowns, fault diagnostics on remote sites, and a huge push from the crew to keep our clients operating safely and efficiently.

Very proud of the team for stepping up, adapting, and delivering quality work no matter the conditions.

By far, my proudest achievement in business to date.

Mason’s House, the home of Full Circle Therapies, provides much-needed early intervention services for children in our region. Their incredible team of occupational therapists and speech pathologists work from some of the most modern, purpose-built therapy spaces — giving local kids the best chance to thrive.

Last week, RAS Diesel Services had the privilege of donating a framed and signed Brisbane Broncos jersey and sponsoring a door at this year’s Resources Industry Charity Sundowner, proudly supporting both Full Circle Therapies Inc Kalgoorlie and Royal Flying Doctor Service WA

Together, this amazing event raised $478,391, with every dollar going straight back into helping people right here in our Goldfields community.

As someone who understands the effort and heart it takes to support kids and families through tough times, this one hit close to home.

A massive thank you to Tim, Ange and the entire Topdrill crew for making the night possible, and a big shout out to my team at RAS Diesel services, your hard work is what made our contribution possible.

It’s truly an honour to be part of something bigger than business. 🙌

Caleb carried out an on-site diagnosis, removed the existing engine, installed a replacement, and returned the equipment to full operation with a new C27.
