We have made some changes!

From Tuesday 3rd March, when you come in for your service or vehicle inspection it may look a little different, our reception will now be accessed via a window in the Caltex forecourt.

This change has allowed us to re-arrange our office space to be more functional and ensure the safety of customers by keeping them from entering the workshop.

There will be some teething while we all get used to the change, please be patient with us.

New labelling requirements for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Do you own an electric or hybrid vehicle manufactured after 1 January 2019? New WA laws now require you to fit blue triangle EV labels to your number plate. 🔋⚡

These metal labels are small but play a big part in ensuring the safety of our emergency service personnel who respond to incidents involving electric and hybrid vehicles. 🧑‍🚒🚒

Labels can be purchased online or at your local auto shop from around $10. Labels cannot be purchased from DTMI service centres or agents.

We've provided a transition period until 1 January 2027 for EV owners to purchase and attach the labels before enforcement begins.

No one likes to hear those dreaded words:
"Unfortunately, your vehicle did not pass inspection today."

To reduce the chances of needing a re-inspection, we recommend asking your regular mechanic to go over your vehicle using this guide before bringing it to us for a licensing inspection.
