The bloke behind RoverX. Tom spent over a decade working as a diagnostic technician inside the JLR dealer network before deciding Sydney's Land Rover and Range Rover owners deserved better than what they were getting. 12+ years of hands on diagnostic experience later, there isn't much he hasn't seen or been able to fix. Started with just a van in 2019, now runs the workshop here in Kirrawee.

Workshop Tips: Checking Your Oil Level

Swipe through, this one's simple but easy to get wrong on newer models. A lot of Land Rovers and Range Rovers don't even have a dipstick anymore, oil level gets checked through the menu system instead. Running low, even briefly, can lead to real engine damage.
