Another awesome 79 Series LandCruiser out the door! 🔥

A huge thank you to Duffy Contracting & Irrigation for trusting the team at Calub Mechanical with their latest performance upgrades.

This Cruiser received:
✅ GTurbo G333 Ball Bearing Turbo
✅ GTurbo Power Pipe
✅ GTurbo Twin Fan Kit
✅ Customer-supplied Fabulous Fabrications Airbox
✅ Multi-Map Tune
✅️ Power tune 1008nm

The vehicle already had a GSL Twin 4-Inch Exhaust and NPC 1600Nm Clutch fitted, making it the perfect platform for these upgrades.

The end result is a 79 Series with outstanding power, torque and drivability, backed by the flexibility of a multi-map tune to suit a range of driving conditions.

Fuel consumption on the eco tune, 17.5L per 100 down to 12L per 100 ⛽️

Ended up with 310kw & 1259nm . 🔥

LS build back out the door! 🔥
This VX Calais Series II Holden By Design – Build No. 2 returned to Caleb Mechanicals for a full engine freshen-up after receiving a stunning new respray.

The engine overhaul included: ✅ Texas Speed Stage 4 camshaft ✅ New lifters ✅ Valve spring kit ✅ Oil pump ✅ Timing chain ✅ CHE Trunnion upgrade ✅ Cylinder heads resurfaced by Sprint AUTO PARTS along with new cam bearings ✅ Engine block thoroughly cleaned and reassembled
To finish it off, we fitted a full Manta exhaust, VCM OTR, and completed a custom dyno tune.

The result? 285kW at the wheels with insane power band & Torque curve, and it was still trying to make more power, fighting for traction on the dyno! 💪
