Modern vehicles contain far more technology than many people realise.

Behind a bumper may be:

• Parking sensors
• Radar units
• Cameras
• Wiring
• Impact absorbers
• Structural components

A vehicle can look relatively undamaged from the outside while still requiring careful inspection and repair.

That is why repairs should not be judged by external appearances alone.

🎉 26 years with the Presnell family!

Today we’re celebrating a pretty incredible milestone for Brad — 26 years in the automotive industry, all spent with the Presnell family.

Brad started with us as a trainee spray painter before becoming dual qualified, moving into estimating and management, and eventually into his current role as our Training & Quality Assurance Manager.

Over 26 years, he’s seen this business change, grow and evolve — and he’s been an important part of every stage of it.

His knowledge of the industry is enormous, but what we value just as much is his loyalty, his care for our customers and team, and the standards he continues to hold our repairs to every day.

There aren’t many people who can say they’ve spent their entire automotive career with the one family business, and we certainly don’t take that loyalty for granted.

🍻 Happy 26 years, Brad!

Thank you for everything you’ve given to the Presnell family and KPB over the years. We’re very lucky to have you.

Working with a local repairer gives fleet operators access to people who understand the area, the business community and the importance of long-term relationships.

We are not interested in completing one repair and disappearing.

We want to understand how your fleet operates, what causes the greatest disruption and how we can make the repair process easier for your team.

That is what a genuine fleet partnership should look like.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿… $𝟮𝟭𝟬! 👀

💰 Yep — the Toyota Corolla bumper bar itself is only around $210.

🚗 But here’s the catch: that’s literally just the bare piece of plastic, unpainted, all by itself.

🔧 It doesn’t include the inserts, grilles, parking sensors, lights or all the other components that make up the complete bumper assembly.

🛠️ All of those parts need to be carefully removed from the damaged bumper and transferred into the new one.

🎨 Before that happens, the new bumper needs to be prepared and painted, and this vehicle also requires additional repairs and paint work.

💥 So that $210 piece of plastic becomes part of a repair totalling around…

$6,000. 😳

It’s a great example of why modern collision repairs can cost a lot more than they first appear from the outside.

For many businesses, a fleet vehicle is also a moving advertisement.

A poorly matched paint finish, misaligned panel or incorrectly replaced signwriting reflects on the business every time that vehicle is on the road.

Fleet repairs should restore more than the vehicle’s function.

They should also protect the presentation and professionalism of your brand.

💰 HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK IT’S WORTH?

I interrupted Deegan while he was working on a Toyota Corolla with a brand-new front bumper bar and asked him to guess what it costs. 😂

He had a crack at it… but I’m cutting it off there. 👀

💸 What do YOU think this bumper bar is worth?

Drop your guess below 👇

I’ll reveal the actual price over the weekend.
