Received the Barra Dongle for the Barra ECU, this unit will collect data from the OEM ECU over the CAN BUS for the ICC/Radio, Instrument Cluster and BCM and will be able to unlock these with the New PNP ECU.
Couple of screenshots of the TCU tuner. Tunable Shift points, Shift Pressures and Engine/shift protections for the Automatic Logic, The Manual mode is still Manual but the Solenoid Pressures can still be changed.

Barra PNP #1 officially installed today (Somehow I've killed the factory ECU).
So now some real driving time getting it all dialed in.
It's very colourful at night (not planned).
I thought i could get away with the 2 front bolt holes but i think i'll add the rear one too.

Been very busy, as well as the normal assembly of website orders, Ive been trying to complete one of my bulk orders and trying to finish the Barra PNP. Just finished assembling the VR conditioners for these ecu's, still need firmware and testing before putting on the lid and packing.
I haven't touch the Barra for this week but have received the new mainboard and the TCU module pictured here.

Nothing to exciting today. Cruising around with the Barra PNP. Todays additions, Added the canbus addresses for the Air conditioning and Speedo. Got the BTR manual shifting a lot more smoother, Still not always showing correct gear, I made a change and now in tiptronic mode it broadcasts 1st gear repeatedly. it flashes the selected and then show 1st gear. I fix that shortly.
Progress is slow, Im waiting now newboards to show up hopefully they will be the final version for release.

Last couple of days. The Barra PNP, Both VVT cams working and tracking degrees (I don't know the tuning them).
BTR works in tiptronic mode with shift pressure calculated by TPS, auto shifting logic still to come and who doesn't want a full manual auto anyway. TCM will be a plug in module in the ecu. Getting more of the can bus messages done, the BTR gears are on the dash.

Finally I got the ICC unlocked by can code. Ive been working on this for DAYS. Finally cracked it.
if your not sure whats going on here, If you remove the factory PCM the ICC and radio will be locked out, you can replace the PCM and you need to have the ICC Paired to the new pcm(ecu). My plug n play would normally make the ICC and radio not work, But i believe ive found the answer to unlocking it. I will have to experiment of a few more BA's to find out.

More work on the Barra PNP
worked on some of the can bus, have some of the dash now working.
Bit of driveway tuning, getting the DBW dialed in and getting idle control working.
starting now without touching the pedal.
Is so smooth at 600 rpm, Im amazed at how nice this runs so far, Haven't even looked at a AFR.
It does have wideband on board so i just have to connect a 02 sensor, but im being a bit lazy.

The Barra Plug n Play Hardware version 3, This could be a release candidate.
I have a lot more testing to do, but seems to function as it should.
I haven't programmed the can bus in it yet so dash isnt working in the video.

Major update on the Can Bus displays.
8 extra customizable can bus addresses can be added.
3 of the layouts can now have user selectable sensors.
there is still more tocome.
Ill release this update shortly, I have a couple of things to tidy up.
