Power generation has always been the backbone of TMS. But that's only part of what we do.
Our crew travels to every corner of the Territory and WA to keep fleets running. Remote communities, cattle stations, mine sites, island communities. Also, Solar Farm maintenance! 🍃
If it's got an engine and it's broken down somewhere hard to get to, chances are we've been there or somewhere just like it.
Fleet servicing, power gen, breakdowns, trucks, 4WDs, earthmoving gear, plant and machinery. Scheduled maintenance or "it won't start and we need it tomorrow." We plan for the conditions, carry what we need, and get it done right the first time, because coming back isn't always an option.
Since 2015 we've built our name on turning up where others won't. Proud of the work our team does out here, and proud to keep the Territory moving.
Working anywhere and everywhere across the NT and WA. 🔥

TMS has always been rooted in power generation. It's what we know, it's what we're good at, and it's not going anywhere.
But the industry is moving, and so are we.
Renewables are becoming an increasingly important part of the energy landscape we already operate in, and it made sense for us to move with that. So we have. TMS has now successfully expanded into renewal farm, solar, wind etc vegetation management and general electical maintenance, a natural extension of our existing capabilities, just pointed in a new direction.
We've already got this side of the business up and running, and with it comes a new name under the TMS Group banner, soon to be announced.
With the right growth, focus, and nurturing, we believe this could be bigger than anything TMS has done before.
So far Operations have been over 3 different states and we're excited to push it further.

Jak's HDJ79, the highest power 79 Series we've ever put on the dyno!
With a fresh injector upgrade already on board the old maps were out the window, so we went straight to work building it from scratch, and it was well worth it!
Left with 3 maps to suit whatever the day calls for:
⚡ Power – 385.5HP / 886Nm
🚛 Tow/Daily – 330.8HP / 787Nm
🌿 Economy – 289.1HP / 677Nm
And just to see what she had – 410.9HP / 1075Nm on a hero run. Absolutely wild for a 79 Series.

✅ PDI Front-Mount Intercooler
✅ Unichip Tuning
✅ +70% Injectors
✅ CPC Fab Custom airbox and pipe work
And Coil converted because why not!

Anyone wanting a FIFO power gen operating gig, hit me up!
Dont need rebuild or major engine works experience, but some expose to power generation equipment operation is highly desirable.
Can be a HV sparkie, diesel fitter or experienced with power gen light fitter.
Its a floating role, so always changing, no monotonous s**t and pays wicked.
May need to be utilised for other upcoming work also, but if so will need to be a sparkie or diesel mech only for that one.
Needs to be keen, flexible, and ready to move with a business thats expanding and ever changing!
May be multiple roles also.

You know we’re good at posting when it’s been six months 😅
Truth is, we’ve been flat out, head down, spinning out of control in a straight line, and it hasn’t even crossed our minds.

Here’s a quick flicker of what’s been happening.

Somehow, we’ve ended up actively set up in just about every corner of Australia. Our team this year has been unreal, keeping their game on point day in, day out without issue, and for that we thank every single one of them. Contractors and employees alike! 🫶

We’re now working across the NT, WA, NSW and Victoria, with projects keeping us well and truly swamped. In the process of securing a regional Victoria hub to support works down there.

This year we:
• Clocked a combined 125000km in the Ute's.
• Doubled the size of our team, but never sacrificing on quality.
• Established ourselves in regional VIC and NSW, and some bits back out Arnhem Land.
• Set up a new business launching in January to support broader operational needs across power generation and the green energy sector
• Further rooted our value in the gas and diesel power generation and mining sector Australia wide.

Here’s to 2025 🎉
And here’s to 2026 being on another level🔥

Brett’s stunning HDJ79 came in for a long-awaited tune and some Unix upgrades!

We installed a 5-map switch and boost controller to unlock the potential of the Unplugged UniX, all while keeping the factory airbox—and she wasn’t shy about making power!

📈 282HP / 700Nm on 35s!
She rolled in at 190HP on gate pressure with stock injectors and 30s—already decent without the chip—but what a transformation!

Mods include:
✅ PDI Front-Mount Intercooler
✅ GTurbo Green Series
✅ UniX Tuning Module with 5-Map Switch
✅ +30% Injectors
⚠️ Still running the stock airbox!

80 Series up from Katherine for a tune!
No photo this time (as usual 😅), but trust us—she’s a big rig, loaded with all the camping fruit!

Running a 1HZ with a HD Auto’s turbo kit and compensated pump, it performed exactly how you'd expect from a solid old-school setup.

We kept it on the leaner side for heat management, and the customer reported a huge improvement on the drive back to Katherine. Mission accomplished! ✅

Still sporting the TMS-fitted 11mm pump from a while back, she threw hands for big rubber, meeting its previously HP made on 33s! 37s take about 40hp from 33s, roughly... may vary...
