Stipid wheel seal leaking stupid grease all over every lol

Customer reported this generator was using coolant and triggering low coolant alarms.

No leaks were visible with the engine running, but after pressure testing the cooling system, I tracked the issue down to a failed top radiator tank gasket.

Fault found, repair carried out, and another generator ready to keep the lights on.

Serviced and carried out a thorough inspection on this 30-tonne slew crane before it heads bush for some serious rural and remote work.

Better to find any issues in the workshop than hundreds of kilometres from the nearest town.

This side tipper blew the seals in its tip cylinder, putting it out of action.

Removed the cylinder, stripped it down, fitted a new seal kit and had it reassembled and back in service within hours of removal.

Customer reported this Massey Ferguson tractor was down on power and sounded like it was starving for fuel.

After diagnosing the fuel system, I found the original factory fuel filter heads were drawing air into the system, causing fuel delivery issues and poor engine performance. Looking into genuine replacement components quickly proved to be an expensive exercise, so a custom fuel filtration setup complete with a new primer pump was designed and installed instead.

Further investigation revealed the fuel tanks were heavily contaminated with debris and sediment. Both tanks were removed, thoroughly pressure cleaned, and dried out using compressed air before being reinstalled.

With the new filtration system fitted and the fuel tanks cleaned, the tractor was put back into service and is now running as it should with no further issues.

Sometimes the fault you see is only part of the story. Taking the time to find and rectify the root cause is what keeps machines working reliably in the long term.
