People of Kismet - Meet Joan Dick and her family, who have been spending most of their Easters here at Kismet Riverside for around 33 years now. What started as a recommendation from friends, quickly became a family tradition they’ve continued ever since.

For Joan and her family, Easter at Kismet has always been about quality time together. Bike rides around the park, family games, swims in the pool during those usually warm Howlong Easter weekends, and simply slowing down and enjoying each other’s company. In fact, all the kids in the family learnt to ride their bikes here, making Kismet an incredibly special place filled with lifelong memories.

Over the years, Joan has loved seeing the park continue to grow and improve while still keeping the friendly atmosphere Kismet is known for. From the newer ensuite sites for caravans to the additional cabins and the new accessible cabin, it’s these thoughtful changes that keep bringing families back year after year.

We’re so grateful to Joan and her family for being such a special part of the Kismet story, and we look forward to more amazing Easters with this wonderful family 💙

One of our favourite local events, Roam Rutherglen, is back this June long weekend on June 6-7🍷

Just 15 minutes from Kismet Riverside, it’s the perfect excuse for a riverside getaway filled with great wine, food and local flavours.

We were so honoured to host Jack & Carley’s beautiful wedding here at Kismet Riverside on April 18, and be part of their special love story 💍

From a heartfelt ceremony at our beautifully refreshed rotunda to celebrating the night away in our function room, it was such a special day to be part of. Blessed with perfect weather and set against the riverside backdrop and surrounded by family and friends, the whole day was simply beautiful!

We’ve loved hosting weddings at Kismet over the years, and it’s incredibly special to see these celebrations returning to the park once again. Wishing Jack & Carley a lifetime of happiness together 🤍

There’s plenty to enjoy around the park during your stay at Kismet Riverside. Fire up the BBQ, enjoy a hit on the tennis court, challenge the family to volleyball, have a swim in our pool (over summer!) or spend the afternoon down by the river. With a playground for the kids, boat ramp access and our fun little 3-hole golf course, it’s an easy place to slow down and settle in.
