⚠️ Ford Ranger 2.0L & Ford Transit Owners – This Is Why Timing Belt Maintenance Matters ⚠️

What you're looking at is the inside of a Ford Transit sump fitted with the same 2.0L diesel wet timing belt system found in many Ford Rangers.

The black debris throughout the sump is material from the deteriorating timing belt, As these belts break down, the debris circulates through the oil and can restrict the oil pickup causing low oil pressure, the belt is also at risk of breaking as it deteriorates further, leading to potentially catastrophic engine damage.

If you own a Ford Ranger or Ford Transit with the 2.0L diesel engine and you're unsure when the wet timing belt was last replaced, now is the time to call your Service team and find out - or call us to have it checked.

Don't wait until the warning lights come on or the engine suffers major damage, Prevention is far cheaper than repair!
