As is usually the case with VT-VZ SS leather seats, these ones from a Cross 8 were in desperate need of a birthday. The common flaws with this style of seat in particular comes from the somewhat poor quality of leather used from factory, UV exposure, lack of regular moisturising/leather balms and 20+ years of hard use. All of this amounts to cracked, shrunken and petrified leather, split or burst stitching and crushing of the foam cushion itself.
