We have been a bit quite on the old business page of late. But we have been working hard behind the scenes, we have finished of a whole lot of work to Hayden’s well looked after L67 VY commodore.

This work has included fitting and wiring in some accessory gauges. For boost pressure, oil pressure, wideband, engine oil temp and transmission temp. Along with a external oil cooler and a nice set of pacemaker headers and high flow cats.
At the same time we have sorted out some maintenance items such as. Replacement of the heater core, rear main seal replacement, sump resealing and a few other bits and peace’s.

Customers MQ Triton we did a custom remap for last week.
The customer uses her vehicle for mostly towing her horse float around and wanted to improve her fuel consumption while towing along with some increased torque.
We worked our magic on it and managed about 30% gains across the whole range. With improved power and torque and a much earlier delivery of its torque. She’s is going to have no issues now towing her horse float to meetings and will be a whole lot better on fuel.

A Audi A5 we bought a couple of months ago now, is almost finished.
We got this vehicle with the issue for having a timing chain tensioner failure causing all the intake valves to be bent.
We at RPM carried out a full engine rebuild on this little CDNC engine as the previous owner also said it was burning a lot of oil before the failure.
With everything on this engine replaced or refurbished to as new spec. She is almost finished her run in and is awaiting a detail before it goes up for sale.

Big boy ! 1200nm clutch kit we supplied to a customer last week for his TD42 power patrol.
The billet flywheel in this kit is more than half the weight over the factory flywheel with a custom pressure plate and friction plate to soot.
More than capable to hand the 1100nm of torque this bus makes.

Carried out a ECU remapping on the partners Pajero Sport a few weeks ago.
Came up really well with 20-30 percent gains across the whole range. We got rid of that typical boost lag you find in the Pajero sport, triton platforms. With the torque curve starting at 1800rpm pulling all the way through the rpm range.
This has improved the drivability greatly, removing the annoying 8speed shift confusion you get in these vehicles.
On top of all this we have gained great fuel
consumption and maintained factory DPF operation.
