APPRENTICE VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
1st Year Apprentice Vehicle Technician required to join our busy Service Department at City Mazda. If you are committed and eager to pursue an exciting and rewarding career in the automotive industry, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will receive training in performing service and repair work for our valued customers. We will provide one-on-one support and mentoring from our experienced senior technicians.
Duties will include:
• On the job training and Trade School components
• Assisting Technicians with vehicle service and repair work
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
• Face to face customer service with internal and external customers
Key qualifications and Essential Criteria:
• Passion for Mechanics and Automotive
• Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Initiative and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work as an effective team member
• Current driver’s license including proficiency in manual vehicle
