This customer brought her Datsun 1600 in with wiring had come straight out of a house! 😂 So we ripped out all the old wiring and completed a full re-wire.

We like to keep these setups as simple as possible, so if anything ever does go wrong down the track, it’s easy to diagnose and repair. During every re-wire, we’re always thinking about reliability, safety, and making sure the wiring is neat and easy to work on in the future.

This Datsun came in with multiple electrical issues and a bird’s nest of wiring under the dash. The gauges weren’t working, the headlights were shorting out, and the engine wouldn’t run.

After the re-wire, everything was working as it should, and the customer was able to drive this cool Datsun 1600 home with no issues.

This build was all about a clean, modern, and reliable setup while keeping the engine bay as hidden and tidy as possible.

🔧 Powered by a Haltech system:
• Nexus R3 ECU
• PD-16 Power Distribution Module
• UC-10 Digital Dash
• Wideband Controller

⚙️ Supporting hardware:
• Flex fuel sensor
• Aeroflow drive-by-wire throttle body
• Triple 525 Walbro fuel pumps
• Interchiller pump

💡 Electrical upgrades:
• Full LED conversion – headlights, tail lights & indicators
• Electric power steering
• Electric A/C compressor
• Willwood electric handbrake

🧼 Engine bay:
• Hidden coil packs
• Wiring tucked and concealed throughout

🔋 Battery relocated to boot (Optima)

All tied together with an LSA under the bonnet — serious bit of gear.

Big job, but the end result speaks for itself. Clean, functional, and ready to perform.
