Big V-twins can have that annoying "carb cough" (or carb fart?) right off idle, especially when cruising at low speeds or taking off from a set of lights.

Traditional carburettors rely on fixed jets that often struggle to transition smoothly from the pilot circuit to the main jet under the heavy load of a big cruiser.

A Lectron replaces those separate circuits with a single, tapered metering rod. Because the rod delivers fuel linearly based on engine vacuum rather than just throttle position, it provides a perfectly smooth fuel curve.
