🏁 AKC COMPETITORS & TEAMS – QUIET HOURS & VENUE REMINDER 🏁

As we prepare to welcome competitors and teams to Eastern Lions Kart Club for the Australian Kart Championship, we ask everyone staying on site to please be respectful of our neighbours and comply with local Council regulations.

🔇 QUIET HOURS & GENERATORS
Quiet hours will apply between 10.00 PM and 7.00 AM.

During these hours, generators must not be operated.

The ELKC Executive reserves the right to turn off any generators found running during quiet hours. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us minimise noise and remain respectful of the surrounding community.

🔥 FIRES
In accordance with the Supplementary Regulations, open fires & fire pits are strictly prohibited within the Pit Area.

Fires are permitted within the designated Camping Area only and must be managed responsibly and in accordance with any applicable fire restrictions or regulations.

These requirements are in place to ensure we can provide a safe and enjoyable event while meeting our obligations to our neighbours and local community.

🏁 2026 ELKC Junior Sprint Classic – Pit Allocation 🏁

Please note: There will be NO pit paddock allocation for this meeting.

Retailers, Sponsors, and Groups of 5 or more are required to email Jason with your pit requirements.

Email [email protected] by 5:00pm on Friday, 11 September 2026.

Please include pit size requirements, along with the names and classes of each driver.

Due to back-to-back events, there will be no Social Karting activities until Monday, 21st September.

**REMINDER – SEPTEMBER GENERAL MEETING CANCELLED**

Please note that the General Meeting scheduled for Thursday 3 September 2026 has been cancelled due to preparations for the Australian Kart Championship (AKC).

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Greensborough RSL on Thursday 1 October 2026.

Please keep an eye on your inbox in early September for further information and details regarding the AGM.

ATTENTION 4SS JUNIOR DRIVERS
For the first time we are proud to offer 4SS JUNIOR at this year’s JUNIOR SPRINT CLASSIC. With just over a week till entries close you need to contact your mates to make it happen.

📣 AKC & Junior Sprint Classic Entrants

For any entrants who are also competing in the Junior Sprint Classic, if you would like to arrange for your trailer to be left at the club between events, please contact Steve Pegg at:

A designated holding area will be available outside the pit area for trailers.

Please note:
• The pit area must remain clear after AKC — trailers are not to be left in the pits.
• No tents are to be left erected unless prior permission has been granted by the ELKC Executive.
