A Little Something We’d Like to Share With Travellers
We thought we'd share a little something with those of you who travel and stay at caravan parks along the way.
As the years go by, we are finding that expectations from some travellers are becoming a little more demanding. We genuinely love what we do, we love our park, and we enjoy sharing our little piece of the world with people travelling from near and far.
One thing we would encourage everyone to do before booking a caravan park is research.
Every caravan park is different. The sites, facilities, infrastructure, amenities, water, power, location and even the way each park operates can vary greatly.
What one person considers important may not matter to someone else. Some parks may have everything you are looking for, while another simply may not be the right fit for you or your family — and that's perfectly okay.
Take the time to look at the park's website, read the information, check the facilities and understand the conditions before you book. If there is something you're unsure about, ask before you arrive.
And yes, most caravan parks will have rules. Quiet times, speed limits, pet policies, parking and looking after facilities are all pretty standard. These shouldn't come as a surprise when you arrive, as they are generally outlined in the park's information and terms.
For privately owned parks, it's also worth remembering that this is often someone's home as well as their business. We choose to open our gates and share our home because we love what we do and enjoy welcoming travellers.
The best holiday experience happens when you find a park that suits what you're looking for in the first place.
So our little bit of advice to fellow travellers is simple:
Do your research. Read the information. Ask questions. Find the park that's right for you.
There is a caravan park out there for everyone — you just need to find the right one for you. ❤️
