We are looking for a fulltime Motor Mechanic to join our growing team at our Heidelberg west automotive workshop
Need skills and working knowledge to diagnose the faults, carry out repairs and provide the best customer experience.
What are we looking for?
Qualified Motor Mechanic with atleast two to three years experience.
Relevant Australian Qualifications.
Roadworthy license , ideal but not essential
Knowledge of working on all makes and models.
Current Australian Driver’s License
Ability to work independently, unsupervised and self-starter.
Capable to configure the issues, conduct repairs with great attention to detail and offer the best possible service.
Knowledge to operate diagnostic equipment
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a qualified full time mechanic you will be responsible to carry out repairs and do service on all makes and models.
Run an initial inspection to discover functional issues, diagnose the fault using the diagnostic equipment and detect the fault.
Carry out repairs or replace the faulty engine or parts as required.
Conduct service on all vehicles including changing engine oil, transmission oil, check brakes, air filter etc.
Dismantle vehicle, conduct the repair or replace the defective part and re assemble the engine by following the manual guidelines.
Run a quality and safety check before returning the vehicle.
Follow work safety procedures and guidelines.
General Housekeeping and workshop maintenance duties.
