Team Spotlight: Beth & Ben (& Digger, who needs no introduction)🐾

Beth and Ben are a big part of what makes Rawnsley Park Station run so smoothly.

Beth joined the team as a tour guide in 2022 before returning in 2023 and stepping into the role of Operations Manager in 2024. Ben joined us in 2024 and has since progressed from maintenance to Maintenance Manager, bringing a wide range of skills to the team.

While guests may know Beth and Ben from tours, operations and maintenance, they're also often found behind the scenes with Digger, one of Rawnsley's most popular personalities.

Later this month, they'll be getting married here at Rawnsley, and we're sure Digger won't be far from the celebrations.

The Flinders Ranges has earned a place in Australia's first MICHELIN Guide.

We're delighted to share that the Woolshed Restaurant - Rawnsley Park Station has been included in the MICHELIN Guide South Australia 2027.

The inaugural guide features 77 restaurants from across South Australia, with the Woolshed Restaurant among those included in the official MICHELIN Guide selection, recognised for the quality of its cuisine.

A huge thank you to our dedicated team, led by Head Chef Sam Wigg, and Front of House Manager, Alisha Riwaka, our local suppliers and our valued guests for their ongoing support. This recognition reflects our passion for showcasing the flavours of the Flinders Ranges and Outback, celebrating regional produce and delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests.

We congratulate the restaurants awarded MICHELIN Stars and Bib Gourmand recognition and are honoured to be included among those featured in the inaugural MICHELIN Guide South Australia 2027.

As the countdown continues to the opening of our new Oasis Eco‑Villas on 1 November, we're excited to share another detail that will help make every stay a little more memorable.

Guests staying in the Oasis Eco‑Villas will be welcomed with a specially curated Flinders Gin Welcome Pack, celebrating one of the Flinders Ranges' most iconic local brands.

Crafted by the Trotta family in nearby Quorn, Flinders Gin captures the flavours, character and spirit of the Flinders Ranges through a distinctive range of gins that hero regional botanicals and draw inspiration from the surrounding outback landscape.

It's part of our commitment to connecting guests with the people, producers and stories that make the Flinders Ranges such a special destination.

There's something unforgettable about seeing the Flinders Ranges from the air.

Whether it's a scenic flight over Wilpena Pound, a sunrise or sunset experience, Heli-Hiking from Gregory Gap, or an overnight Heli-Camping adventure on the remote Chace Range, our helicopter experiences offer a unique perspective on this remarkable landscape.

We're delighted to congratulate Adnyamathanha artist Rehanna Coulthard on being awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship, which will see her travel to Canada, Greenland, Kenya and New Zealand to explore First Nations tourism, with a particular focus on women-led tourism initiatives.

Rehanna's passion for sharing culture, Country and story is something we've been fortunate to experience firsthand at Rawnsley Park Station. We're proud to have commissioned two exclusive artworks by Rehanna, Akurra's Gift – Rawnsley Park Station and Akurra's Gift – The Bluff, which will feature within our new Oasis Eco‑Villas when they open from November 1, 2026.

Congratulations, Rehanna, on this incredible achievement. We wish you every success as you undertake this important international study program.

✨And don't forget, our Oasis Eco‑Villa competition closes on October 4, 2026. One lucky winner will have the opportunity to experience the villas and Rehanna's commissioned artworks firsthand.

These images, captured by guide Kym Tilbrook during our recent multi-day Walking the Flinders Ranges tours, showcase some of the spectacular landscapes, colours and experiences that await walkers in the Flinders Ranges and Outback

From rugged mountain ranges and ancient geology to sweeping vistas and unforgettable sunrises, every departure offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a landscape more than 1.5 billion years in the making.

We're pleased to announce that 2027 dates for our 3-Day and 5-Day Flinders Ranges Walking Tours are now available.

Led by experienced local guide and bushwalking author Kym Tilbrook, these tours combine remarkable scenery, rich history, unique wildlife and our signature Heli-Camping Experience to create a truly unforgettable Flinders Ranges adventure.
