Stella took this really great photo of the new pendant light in the Ovens River Retreat at Harrietville Caravan Park, which has been beautifully refurbished by Chris to maintain its rustic charm. The pendant light itself is a masterpiece, crafted from a piece of timber that was originally laying outside the Retreat, just waiting to be discovered and repurposed.
Just look at that rustic timber, with its weathered texture and rich brown color, a little reminder of the olden days in Harrietville when life was harder but perhaps more laid back. I wonder how long that piece of timber sat there for, exposed to the elements, waiting for someone to come along and give it a new lease on life. The stories it could tell if it could speak! 🏠💡
