🚨 2” BRUMBY LIFT KITS – OUT OF STOCK… AGAIN! 🚨

Well, it’s happened again. Our 2-inch Subaru Brumby lift kits have officially sold out! 😳

But don’t panic — the next batch is already underway.

Our welding wizard Luke is burning through steel and working hard behind the scenes to get the final components ready so we can get these kits back on the shelves as soon as possible.

These lift kits have been one of our strongest sellers for years, and for good reason. They remain the only truly complete Brumby lift kit available anywhere in the world. No chasing extra parts, no guessing what’s missing, and no last-minute trips to the hardware store.

✔️ Billet lift blocks
✔️ Steering extension
✔️ Offset strut tops
✔️ Zinc-coated hardware
✔️ Everything you need in one kit

A massive thank you to everyone who continues to support our small business and keeps these old Subarus alive and kicking.

Available on our online shop (when in stock) ETA 1 week. 👇

🛡️ SUBARINO SUMP GUARDS – HELP US DECIDE 🛡️

We’ve been working away on a sump guard for the Subaru Brumby and L-Series.

The design and testing process is still underway, but we’d love to get some feedback before we move closer to production.

What material would YOU prefer?

🔹 Steel (Budget Option)
✔ Strong and impact resistant
✔ Lower cost
✔ Available raw (paint it yourself) or powder coated
✔ Easy to repair and touch up
❌ Can rust if neglected

🔹 Stainless Steel
✔ Excellent corrosion resistance
✔ No paint required
✔ Strong and durable
❌ Higher cost
❌ Heavier than aluminium

🔹 Aluminium
✔ Lightweight
✔ Won’t rust
✔ Good corrosion resistance
✔ Slides nicely over obstacles
❌ Higher cost
❌ More susceptible to abrasion, gouging and denting from repeated impacts

At this stage we’re trying to find the right balance between strength, weight, durability and affordability.

So tell us…

👇 What would you buy?

1️⃣ Raw Steel

2️⃣ Powder Coated Steel

3️⃣ Stainless Steel

4️⃣ Aluminium

And if you’ve smashed a sump guard into a few rocks over the years, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Big changes here at Subarino HQ this week…

We’re saying goodbye (for now) to Jacinta, who has been an absolute integral part of the Subarino team over the years. If you’ve ordered parts from us online, chances are Jacinta packed and sent your order while somehow surviving the daily chaos and male-dominated workshop banter that comes with life at Subarino HQ.

She’s kept us in line, pushed us harder into the digital age, and constantly encouraged us to push the boundaries of what Subarino could become. It’s honestly fair to say we wouldn’t be where we are today without her efforts behind the scenes.

From keeping the workshop organised, to helping grow the online store, to putting up with our nonsense day after day… she’s been a massive part of the Subarino journey.

We’re going to miss having her around the workshop, but we’re incredibly proud to see her moving on to an exciting new opportunity. Apparently there really IS a job out there better than working at Subarino… I honestly didn’t think such a thing existed. 😂

Thanks for everything Jacinta. We wish you nothing but success in your next adventure. Once part of the Subarino crew, always part of the crew.

✅ Subarino.com.au is back online!

We experienced a temporary outage today caused by a wider server/domain issue outside of our control. Everything should now be back up and running normally.

Thanks everyone for your patience while the tech gurus sorted it out behind the scenes.

Now… back to keeping old Subarus alive. 😎

Alright… stepping into the video world. 🎥

I’m definitely no media professional… well… maybe one day 😂But this is probably the first video I’ve actually put some real effort into.

Is it polished, flashy and “YouTuber” level? Absolutely not.But honestly, getting the information out there and helping fellow old Subaru owners matters more to us than spending days making cinematic masterpieces.

A few people were a bit confused about how our universal stretch CV boots are installed, so we figured the easiest way to explain it was to actually show you.

These boots are something we absolutely swear by here at Subarino HQ and we won’t fit a Subaru Brumby axle without changing the inner boot to one of these first. The design of many aftermarket replacement boots just doesn’t survive old Subaru driveline angles very well — especially once suspension mods and age come into the mix.

Hopefully this video helps a few people out in the workshop or driveway. And if people actually enjoy this sort of thing… maybe there’s more videos coming 👀

Every year it happens… the weather cools down and suddenly the “winter essentials” for old Subarus start flying off the shelves ❄️

These replacement heater taps for the Subaru Brumby are one of the biggest ones.

After sitting untouched through the warmer months, a lot of original heater taps seize solid the first time people try to turn the heater on for winter. And even if you do manage to free them up again… many start leaking coolant shortly after.

That’s exactly why replacement heater taps were high on the Subarino bucket list for us.

But they’re not the only winter rush item 👀

As soon as the rain and cold hits, we also see huge demand for:
• Front windscreen seals
• Interior light lens upgrades
• Door ajar light switches

Apparently Brumby owners enjoy:
✔ Staying warm
✔ Keeping the rain out
✔ Actually being able to see inside the cab at night 😅

Good news — all 4 products are now BACK IN STOCK after completely selling out last week 🔥

No doubt one of the most nerve-racking parts of any engine conversion is the wiring 😅

This EJ conversion loom arrived at the workshop in a HUGE box of wires… and will leave a fraction of the size.

Our in-house auto sparky strips off all the old conduit, removes everything you don’t need, then re-looms and labels the harness so it’s ready for conversion duties only — engine management, essentials, and nothing extra.

Every loom is also plugged into one of our diagnostic computers and tested before it leaves the workshop to make sure everything checks out properly 🔧

And because we know labels can sometimes disappear halfway through an install, every loom also comes with an info sheet explaining wire colours and what each wire does — whether it’s an aircon input, radiator fan output, ignition feed, or something else entirely.

After we’ve worked our magic, most looms are only around 4 wiring connections away from starting the car 👌

One thing worth mentioning — we don’t supply pre-made looms. There are simply too many Subaru model variations, ECU types, and plug combinations to safely do that. Instead, this is a conversion service performed on YOUR loom to avoid mismatch headaches later on.

And if you hit dramas during installation? We’re always happy to help. We’ve done literally hundreds of these and install them in our own workshop conversions too.

This particular harness is a bit larger than usual 👀
The customer is fitting an EJ205 GT Forester turbo engine into his Brumby and wanted to retain the factory instrument cluster. We’ve wired and tested everything on our end and now it’s heading to the other side of Australia for install.

Can’t wait to see the finished result 🔥

Huge batch just landed 🇺🇸🔥

Our USA-made steering extensions are now back in stock and ready to go for Subaru Brumby and L-Series lift kits.

These are the same extensions we include in our Version 2 lift kits and the same ones we trust in our own builds.

Perfect for:
✔ DIY lift kit builders
✔ Turbo conversions with dropped crossmembers
✔ Replacing those old “mystery” extensions in your current lift kit
✔ Making your old lift kit a little less dodgy 😅

Unlike alloy versions, these are made from steel so the splines won’t wear out over time. They’re completely bolt-on, maintain the factory safety design and come with the hardware needed to fit them properly.

We’ve had a huge shipment arrive and there’s now stacks of them sitting on the shelves ready to go.

🔥 These finally landed.

The new Subarino key rings are now available on the store and honestly… these turned out even better than we hoped.

Designed in Australia by the legends at Parts by Geci and tested by us on our own keys for months before release. We wanted something that actually felt premium in your hand — not some cheap lightweight trinket.

These have a solid, quality feel with smooth edges and the iconic Subarino Brumby silhouette embossed into the design 👌

Perfect for:• Your Brumby keys• Workshop keys• Garage wall keys• Or just letting everyone know you own too many old Subarus 😅

We’ve had prototype versions living on our own key sets for over 6 months now and they still feel mint.

Another bucket-list item ticked off for us.

These have been extinct for years… until now. 🔥

The NEW Subarino “Long Neck” EA81 Thermostat Housings are finally here — and this one has honestly been a bucket list tick for us.

Designed in Australia by our mates at Parts by Geci and personally tested by the Subarino team in real Australian conditions, these housings were built to solve a problem old Subaru owners have dealt with for years.

The longer neck design gives the clearance needed for factory EA81 power steering setups while still maintaining the clean factory look. Best part? They also perfectly suit standard non-power steering Brumbys and wagons too — making them ideal whether you already run power steering or plan to add it later.

✅ Small batch currently in stock
✅ Includes thermostat housing gasket
✅ Designed for harsh Aussie conditions
✅ Tried and tested on our own builds
✅ Suits EA81 Subaru Brumby/MY models

We’re adding new old-school Subaru parts to the shop all the time and the support so far has honestly blown us away.

Recent additions include:
• NEW Subarino alloy key rings 👌
• Subarino steering extensions for the DIY lift kit builders out there
• More Parts by Geci gear landing regularly
• New reproduction and custom-made parts currently in testing 👀
