STAFF WANTED!!!

We're on the hunt for a mechanic, if you like what we post on here, if you like go karts, shopping trolleys, we work on the lot here. if you like problem solving on weird s**t using your head and not a scan tool. If you like adjusting points and playing with mechanical fuel pumps, changing jets and not injectors. if you like sitting on hot vinyl seats in summer then you the kind of nutcase we are looking for.

Great roadster weather in Melbourne today. Murph bought his Y block powered channelled 32 roadster in to us last week to fix an oil leak and give it a tune.

Brett is now just backing it out of the workshop to road test it and we're not sure he's coming back 😁

🚗🚕🚙 Introducing ‘Front Row’ in 2026

Now that Santa Cruz is done for another year, we turn our attention to 2026, now only a few weeks away. We're always up to try something new and a suggestion made recently by a regular entrant caught our interest. After kicking the idea around, we feel it's worth a trial run.

The suggestion is we invite owners of a certain make/model/style/era of car, to park together in reserved spaces directly in front of the Sober Mule forecourt when coming to a cruise night. Hence, the term Front Row! For example, the photo above is a line of '32 Ford Hot Rods, creating a mini show within the overall event. We plan to invite a different make/model/etc each cruise night. Same cruise night, but if you own a car type that we've invited to be in our Front Row, just be entered through our gate before 5:30pm and we'll direct you to park in our Front Row for that night.

First up is an invitation to all owners of 55/56/57 Chevrolets to fill our first Front Row at the January 6th Peninsula Cruise Night. Car bodies only please, we'll be inviting pickups & commercials shortly. We have a maximum of 30 spaces so first in best dressed.
